Our Association

We are the retired employees' association of WorkSafeBC (WCBREA). For over 40 years, the WCBREA has enabled members to maintain old work friendships and cultivate new ones.

We welcome anyone receiving a WSBC pension, whether you worked as a union member, excluded staff, in management, or in the executive at WSBC, regardless of your geographic location in the province. 

Our association hosts a spring and fall luncheon in conjunction with our general membership bi-annual meetings, and a year end Christmas luncheon. These gatherings are hosted in the lower mainland.  We have historically published quarterly newsletters, and now we prepare minutes of the meetings of the board of directors, both of which you will find posted on this site.  

Finally, we meet as your representative with WSBC employee benefits staff to discuss matters of mutual interest.
